T-Minus 10 Days!
Well, it's getting down to the wire with all the Wedding Planning!!!! 10 Days to GO!!!!! I can't believe it's next Saturday...June 20th! Everyone has been telling me the past several weeks to soak it all in and enjoy every moment of it. Time has surely passed by the past year of our wonderful Engagement. I can't wait to see what God has planned for our Marriage and new life together. I'm sure it will be wonderful. We are continuing to pray for guidance and direction of where God is leading to start our lives together... We have a lot of Faith and know we will get the answer, all is his timing. I need to remember to be patient and God will provide. I am thankful for all our friends and family that will be coming in town next week and pray for safe travel, good health, and good weather!
*Photos are some oldies, but goodies;) Some of my favs.

He will be attending University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky in the Fall. He will be on Soccer scholarship as well! He is very excited and so is the rest of the family! Wahoo:)
Things are beginning to fall into place more and more for the Wedding! It's just around the corner and will be here before we know it! We're down to 47 days:)

Third Wedding Shower
This past weekend Joey and I had our last wedding shower in Macon County (where he is from). Joey's Aunts and Cousins hosted the shower and set it all up so pretty. We had an Easter theme-which was pretty similar to our wedding colors-blue and yellow. It was very cute:)
The weather was perfect, nearly 50 guests came and went, lots of very nice gifts and overall a wonderful time with our friends and family.
I think one of my favorite gifts of the day was from Aunt Ruth & Uncle Bill, a 7-piece Pampered Chef cookware set!!! I screamed and nearly cried. It was a moment. My other favorite of the day was a beautiful quilt, hand made by Mama Ovie (Joey's 90 year old grandmother)...again cried. It was wonderful and we have so many nice items:)
The past few weekends have been so great, being able to spend it with my mom and very close friends...it has made me realize how truly blessed Joey and I are. We are very lucky to have such a wonderful life and we are very thankful.
We are planning on having one more shower in Murfreesboro after the wedding-just so more of our friends and family can attend a shower. April and May is booked solid the rest of the weekends and June will obviously be hectic, so right now we're planning on July 11th.

Wedding Showers
This past weekend Joey and I had two wedding showers!!!
Our first one was in Knoxville, hosted by my best friend from high school & one of my bridesmaids, Abby Snyder. We had around 27 guests there. It was decorated beautifully, had yummy yummy food, lots of gifts and lots of friends and family. Some friends were there that I hadn't seen in four years. It was so great.
Our second shower was in Maryville, hosted by Aunt Betty Sue. She is so crafty and had the table set-up so nice and family members were there from out of state. The thought of them driving in from North Carolina and Georgia meant so much to me. My Great Aunt, that is 87, was able to come too. It was so great to see her.
Joey and I were blessed beyond belief with the friends and family that came. Everyone was so thoughtful with their gifts, I can't believe the items we've received. It was such a wonderful weekend; truly full of family, friends and fun:)
Joey and I are extremely grateful for the continued caring thoughts, advice and prayers as we countdown the days 'til June 20, 2009!!!!!!

100 DAYS TO GO!!!!
As of March 12, 2009 there are 100 Days until our wedding day!!
Joey and I are beyond excited and CAN NOT wait for the wedding to be here! It's so crazy to look back since July 15, 2008 (when Joey proposed) and see what all has happened, how we've grown and how much has changed. We are so lucky to have one another and can't wait 'til we are husband and wife:)
We have been so dead set on a summer wedding and fell in love with it being in June for a couple of reasons. My parents were married on June 21st and Joey's parents were married on June 19th. June 20th falls on a Saturday this year and we just knew it would be so perfect. It's so special to us to share our wedding anniversary with our parents within 3 days.
A year is a long time to plan a wedding, but we're both thankful for our lives together, our family and friends. It's so hard to believe the wedding will be here in no time now. We can't wait!!!
